Pittsfield Softball Falls at Agawam

AGAWAM, Mass. – Madelyn Pajer went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI Monday to lead the Agawam softball team to a 7-4 win over Pittsfield.
 
Pittsfield rallied for four runs in the top of the seventh, but Agawam pitcher Avery Gordon induced a fly ball to the infield with a runner on second to end the game.
 
Amelia Polidoro went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Pittsfield. Mia DeJesus drove in a pair of runs and doubled in a 2-for-4 day at the plate.
 
Gionnah Levardi and Polidoro split time in the circle, combining to strike out seven and allow five earned runs.
 
Pittsfield (1-5) hosts Longmeadow on Thursday.
