McMahon, Generals Top Mount Anthony

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Ava McMahon struck out 12 and allowed just two earned runs Saturday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to an 8-3 win over Mount Anthony.

 

McMahon helped her cause by going 3-for-4 with an RBI at the plate.

 

Mia DeJesus went 2-for-4 with a triple and three runs batted in. Gionnah Levardi finished 2-for-4 with a double.

 

Amelia Polidoro and Kaelyn Fields each had a pair of hits in a 12-hit Pittsfield attack.

 

The Generals (4-9) host Agawam on Tuesday.
