Renata Homers to Lead Pittsfield Past Minnechaug

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Kamryn Renata went 4-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBIs on Thursday to lead the Pittsfield softball team to a 16-2 win over Minnechaug on Thursday.
 
Neveah Lopez went 3-for-4, and Bella MacDonald finished 2-for-3 in a 13-hit Pittsfield attack.
 
The Generals scored seven runs in the third and six more in the fourth to put the game away.
 
Mia DeJesus earned the win in the circle, striking out four and allowing one earned run in a complete-game, five-inning effort.
 
Pittsfield (9-3) hosts Longmeadow on Friday.
