Agawam Softball Edges Lenox

LENOX, Mass. – Payton Malanson went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles Saturday to lead the Agawam softball team to a 7-6 win over Lenox.

 

Toni Vassalo hit a two-out single in the top of the seventh inning to break a 6-6 tie for the visitors.

 

Evelyn Julieano and Grace Julieano each went 2-for-4 with a double in a nine-hit attack for the Millionaires, who got two hits from Cassidy Flynn.

 

Flynn and Evelyn Julieano split time in the circle, combining to allow three earned runs.

 

Lenox (3-2) is at Mount Greylock on Monday.
