LENOX, Mass. – Evelyn Julieano struck out seven in the circle and went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs at the plate Wednesday to lead the Lenox softball team to a 7-4 win over Westfield Tech.

“Great team win,” Lenox coach Justin Lenski said. “Beat a very good Westfield Tech school and  turned a triple play in the fifth inning. Just an overall great team win.”

That fifth-inning triple play, on which five Millionaires touched the ball, snuffed out a Westfield Tech rally as the Tigers attempted to come back from a 5-0 deficit after three.

Aliza Munch went 2-for-3, and Hailey Arnold hit a double in the win.

Lenox (4-4) goes to Smith Vocational on Friday.
