LEE, Mass. -- Evan Heath scored 32 points Tuesday to lead the Lee boys basketball team to a 70-61 win over Mount Greylock.

Heath knocked down four 3-pointers and scored 16 points in the first quarter.

In the second, Gabe Kelley scored eight to help the Wildcats take a 40-30 lead into the break.

Kelley finished with 11 points. Timothy Besaw added 12.

Lee coach Eric Cardinal said it felt good for the team to bounce back after Saturday's loss to the Mounties in Williamstown.

"I can’t say enough about this team," Cardinal said. "They work hard in practice and, most importantly, they play for each other. They hold each other accountable. They earned this win.

"We played seven guys and all contributed. Gabe Kelley attacking. Colin Durken giving us big minutes as he entered the starting lineup. Cam Redstone finding his teammates has been instrumental these last few games. Lastly, the effort I got from the bench Lucas Bombardier and Tim Besaw was great to see."

Chase Doyle led Mount Greylock with 19 points. Max McAlister, Pablo Santos and Seamus Barnes added 11 apiece.

Mount Greylock (2-13) goes to Pittsfield on Friday.

Lee (2-4) is at Hoosac Valley on Thursday.
