Lee Evens Record with Third Straight Win

LEE, Mass. – Joey Abderhalden scored 17 points, and Mason Lucy added 16 Friday as the Lee boys basketball team beat Pioneer Valley Christian, 68-61.

 

The Wildcats outscored the visitors, 23-10, in the second quarter to take a 36-21 lead into the locker room and withstood a PVCS comeback bid in the fourth.

 

“Fortunately, we had key contributions from a lot of different guys that helped us hold on for the win,” Lee coach Dan Korte said. “We're still looking to put together a complete game, but we're getting there.”

 

Noah Masten and Mitchell Keenan each scored nine points in the win.

 

Lee (4-4) hosts McCann Tech on Monday.
