PALMER, Mass. – Taydem Haley scored 22 points Thursday to lead the Palmer boys basketball team to a 67-57 win over Lee in the Western Massachusetts Class C Quarter-Finals.

Palmer jumped out to a 36-16 lead at half-time and put the game out of reach with a 22-14 third quarter.

“They came out with defensive intensity that really disrupted us in the first half,” Lee coach Dan Korte said. “We got ourselves into a hole we couldn't get out of. Now we are looking at one really important last game of the regular season.”

Joey Abderhalden scored 15 points, and Mason Lucy added 10 for the Wildcats (9-10).

Fourth-seeded Palmer goes to No. 1 Drury on Saturday in the semi-finals.
