Moorman Leads Drury Past Hopkins

HADLEY, Mass. -- Sam Moorman scored 17 points and pulled down nine rebounds Friday to lead the Drury boys basketball team to a 62-54 win over Hopkins Academy.

 

The Blue Devils held Hopkins to just two points in the second quarter on the way to a 29-17 half-time lead.

 

Jorge Bond scored 16, and Myles Beauchamp added 14 in the win.

 

Beauchamp and Donte Dillard passed out four assists apiece.

 

Drury (6-2) goes to Greenfield on Tuesday.
