Bond Scores 30 in Drury's Opening Night Win

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Jorge Bond recorded a double-double Friday to lead the Drury boys basketball team to a 83-64 win over Greenfield on opening night.

 

Bond scored 30 points and collected 13 rebounds, both high for the team. He also passed out five assists and stole the ball four times.

 

Connor Hinkell just missed a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

 

Sammy Bullett scored nine points, and Shane Foucher had eight points, eight rebounds and three blocks for the Blue Devils, who jumped out to a 22-7 lead after one quarter and never looked back.

 

Drury (1-0) hosts Pittsfield on Monday.
