Bond Scores 1,000th in Drury Road Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Drury’s Jorge Bond Tuesday scored his 1,000th career point in a, 82-56 win over Veritas Prep Charter.
 
Bond went into the road game needing 36 points to reach the milestone and hit the number on the nose as the Blue Devils won their fourth straight.
 
The Blue Devils jumped out to a 22-9 lead in the first quarter and put the game away by outscoring Veritas, 21-11, down the stretch.
 
Shane Faucher and Brayden Durant each scored 12 points for Drury, which got eight points from Connor Hinkell.
 
Drury (5-1) is at Monument Mountain on Friday.
