DRURY, Mass. – Jorge Bond scored 34 points Monday to lead the Drury boys Basketball team to a 71-66 win over Northampton.

Bond sank four of the Blue Devils’ eight 3-pointers in the win, Drury’s fifth in a row.

The Blue Devils (13-2) came into the game as the top-ranked team in the commonwealth in Division 5, and a win over D2 Hamp should only improve Drury’s chances of holding down a top seed when the state tournament rankings are released after the Western Massachusetts tournaments.

Shane Faucher scored nine points, and Brayden Durant and Connor Hinkell added eight apiece in Monday’s win.

Drury goes to Lenox on Tuesday to tune up for Friday’s showdown at Hoosac Valley.
