McCann Tech Edges Westfield Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Zach Howland Friday scored 17 points to lead the McCann Tech boys basketball team to a 47-43 win over Westfield Tech.

 

The Hornets jumped out to a 15-3 lead in the first quarter and held off the Tigers in the second half, when they outscored the hosts, 34-23.

 

Eric Rougeau scored nine points, and Alex McDermott added six in the win.

 

McCann Tech (7-10) finishes the regular season on Tuesday at home against Turners Falls.
