Howland, Hornets Edge Smith Vocational

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Zachary Howland scored 19 points Friday to lead the McCann Tech boys basketball team to a 56-52 win over Smith Vocational.

 

Kyle Rougeau scored 16, and Jaxson Pilot added 12 for the Hornets, who pulled out a back-and-forth ballgame to earn their fourth straight win.

 

Rougeau went 2-for-2 at the foul line and scored six points in the fourth quarter, when Howland scored five points as McCann Tech outscored the Vikings, 11-10, to pull out the win.

 

McCann Tech (8-3) goes to Franklin Tech on Tuesday.
