Mount Everett Pulls Away Late at Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Mount Everett boys basketball team Thursday held Mount Greylock to one point in the fourth quarter to earn a 44-37 win over the Mounties.
 
The Eagles outscored the hosts, 12-1, in the final eight minutes to erase a 36-32 deficit and win their third in a row.
 
Trevor Leonard scored 11 points, and Darius Taliaferro added nine in the win.
 
Aiden Champagne scored 10 to lead Mount Greylock, which got nine from Cole Creighton.
 
The Mounties (3-7) host Libertas Charter on Tuesday.
 
Mount Everett (8-1) is at Lenox on Tuesday.
