Eagles Down Mount Greylock

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Darius Taliaferro Friday scored 26 points to lead the Mount Everett boys basketball team to a 66-51 win over Mount Greylock.

 

Taliaferro connected five times from beyond the 3-point arc on a night when the Eagles made nine triples.

 

Brady Carpenter scored 12 points, and Guthrie Davis added nine in the win.

 

Mount Greylock was led by Aiden Champagne and Logan Fitzgibbons with 14 points apiece.

 

The Mounties (5-13) host Ludlow on Tuesday.

 

Mount Everett (16-2) learns who it will face in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Tournament.
