Mount Everett Advances to Western Mass Final

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Trevor Leonard scored 18 points Friday to lead the Mount Everett boys basketball team to a 61-59 win over Libertas Charter in the semi-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class D Tournament.

 

Guthrie Davis scored 15, and James Green added 12 for the second-seeded Eagles, who won their eighth straight game.

 

Mount Everett (18-2) advances to face top-seeded Hoosac Valley, a 69-41 winner over Hopkins Academy on Friday, in the regional title game.
