PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Joseph Ingegneri scored 19 points Saturday to lead the West Springfield boys basketball team to a 55-51 win over Taconic.

Taconic played its second straight game without leading scorer Sean Harrigan and Saturday was missing its second-leading scorer, Tayvon Sandifer – both due to injury.

Together, the pair have accounted for nearly 33 points per game this winter.

Ingegneri scored 10 of his 19 in the decisive fourth quarter, when the Terriers outscored Taconic, 20-15.

Maimoudou Bamba scored 16 points, and Jamal Sistrunk and Christian Maturevich added 11 apiece in the loss.

Taconic (11-3) goes to Agawam on Monday.
