Taconic Boys Drop Opener

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Sam Newton scored 17 to lead five Lancers in double figures as the Longmeadow boys basketball team Friday beat Taconic, 74-57.

 

Quincy King scored a game-high 23 to lead Taconic, which got 14 points from Charlie Driscoll and 12 from Carmine Carnute.

 

The Thunder (0-1) is at Wahconah on Monday.
