Taconic Tops Monument Mountain

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Quincy King Monday scored 29 points to lead the Taconic boys basketball team to a 60-49 win over Monument Mountain.
 
King scored 11 points in the third quarter, when the Thunder outscored the Spartans, 25-14, to open up an 11-point lead after going to half-time tied, 19-19.
 
Caysen Blasioli scored 10 points, and Evan Roccabruna and Charlie Driscoll added seven and six, respectively, in the win.
 
Dom Calautti scored 17 to lead Monument Mountain, which got 11 from Finn Mason.
 
Monument Mountain (2-4) is at Wahconah on Thursday.
 
Taconic (3-4) has won three of its last four and looks for its second win in a row on Thursday when it plays Pittsfield at the Boys and Girls Club.
