Davis Leads Hoosac Valley Boys Past Wahconah

CHESHIRE, Mass. -- Logan Davis scored 14 points Saturday to lead the Hoosac Valley boys basketball team to a 51-44 win over Wahconah.

 

Davis hit a pair of 3-pointers in the third quarter to help the Hurricanes extend a 25-19 half-time lead.

 

Carson Meczwyor scored 12 points for Hoosac Valley, which got nine from Caleb Harrington and eight from Frank Field.

 

Brody Calvert scored a game-high 19 for Wahconah.

 

Wahconah (4-3) will look to snap a two-game skid on Monday when it visits Monument Mountain.

 

Hoosac Valley (4-0) is at Mount Greylock on Monday.
