Wahconah Downs Duggan

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Jack DuCharme Tuesday scored 20 points to lead the Wahconah boys basketball team to a 71-40 win over Duggan Academy.

 

Cooper Calvert scored 18, and Jake Wauk added 16 as Wahconah finished the month of December with a record of 6-0.

 

Calvert scored seven points, and DuCharme had six in the second quarter, when Wahconah overcame an early five-point deficit to take a 33-21 lead into the locker room.

 

“Slow start, but we battled back with a strong second quarter and got contributions from everyone,” Wahconah coach Dustin Belcher said. “Great team win.”

 

Wahconah opens 2026 on Friday in Bennington, Vt., against Mount Anthony Union.
