Wahconah Boys Get Balanced Scoring in Tourney Win

DALTON, Mass. – Jack Ducharme hit four 3 pointers for 12 points Saturday to lead the Wahconah boys basketball team to a 60-40 win over O'Bryant in the first round of the Division 4 State Tournament.
 
Jake Wasuk and Cooper Calvert each scored 10 in the victory.
 
Sam McLaughlin scored nine, and Aidan Hagmaier and Ben Barry added eight apiece for eighth-seeded Wahconah.
 
“A great team effort,” Wahconah coach Dustin Belcher said. “We got balanced scoring and an incredible effort defensively.”
 
Wahconah (15-6) waits for the winner of Monday’s Round of 32 game between New Heights Charter of Brockton and Bromfield.
