Wahconah Boys Roll to Second Win

DALTON, Mass. -- Luke Steinman scored 20 points, and the Wahconah boys basketball team’s defense pitched a shutout in the first quarter en route to a 71-28 win over Mount Everett on Friday night.
 
Wahconah (2-0) led, 19-0, after the first quarter.
 
Brandon Roughley and Connor Washburn scored 19 and 12, respectively.
 
For Mount Everett (0-3), Cavan Brady led the way with 11 points, and Cassius Conaway added eight.
 
Wahconah goes to Bennington, Vt., to play Mount Anthony on Wednesday.
 
Mount Everett looks for its first win against Drury on Monday in the Gene Wein Holiday Tournament in North Adams.
