Mount Greylock Punches Tournament Ticket on Road

HATFIELD, Mass. – Chase Doyle scored 19 points Wednesday to lead the Mount Greylock boys basketball team to a 59-53 win over Smith Academy.
 
The win gave the Mounties 10 on the season and secured for them a berth in the state tournament.
 
Adam Sandifer scored 16 for the Mounties, who took a 37-28 lead into half-time.
 
Max McAlister scored nine, and Jackson Powell added eight in the win.
 
Griffin Smiarowski scored 17 to lead Smith Academy.
 
Mount Greylock (10-4) goes to Turners Falls on Friday.
