Barnes Leads Mounties Past Lee

LEE, Mass. – Seamus Barnes scored five of his team-high 15 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Mount Greylock boys basketball team to a 51-49 win over Lee on Tuesday night.
 
The Mounties outscored the Wildcats, 17-13, in the fourth to escape with the Hampshire North league win.
 
Max McAlister scored five of his 11 points in the decisive quarter. Chase Doyle finished with nine points in the win.
 
Ben Cooper scored a game-high 17 points for Lee, which got 10 from Shawn Kinney.
 
The Wildcats (2-8) go to Athol on Friday.
 
Mount Greylock (7-5) hosts Franklin Tech on Friday.
