St. Joe's Earns Road Win Over Granby

SPRINGFIELD, Mass — Saint Joseph’s handled Granby 66-52 during the Hoophall Classic at Springfield College, which featured a collection of the best teams in the state.

Led by Tank Roberson, who scored 19 points and dished six assists, the Crusaders led for nearly the entire game, outscoring the Comets 34-22 during the first half.

Michael McMahon earned a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds for St. Joe‘s which had a total of four players score in double digits (Michael Carpenter 10 points; Lavante Wiggins 10).

According to Crusader head coach Paul Brindle, his team did not enjoy a good night shooting, especially from the free throw line. Regardless, Brindle said he was happy with the win.
