Monument Mountain Boys Earn Road Win

PALMER, Mass. -- Khalil Carlson scored 20 points Monday to lead the Monument Mountain boys basketball team to a 65-51 win over Palmer.
 
"We led all the way and got some decent leads but couldn't put them completely away," Monument Mountain coach Randy Koldys said.
 
The Spartans led by 11 points after the first half and maintained that margin throughout the night.
 
Kyle Wellenkamp scored 12 points, and Kenzel Chandler-Ellerbee chipped in with 10.
 
For Palmer, Jack Letendre had 16 and Chance Lee had 10. 
 
Monument (4-2) will play its first home game in five weeks on Monday against South Hadley.
