GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Khalil Carlson scored 23 points Monday as the Monument Mountain boys basketball team improved to 17-0 with a 67-34 win over Wahconah.

“The win was even more special as the team celebrated Khalil Carlson on Senior Night,” Monument Mountain coach Randy Koldys said. “He is our only senior. Khalil led all scorers with 23 points, including a thunderous, crowd pleasing alley oop dunk from a beautiful pass by Manny Brown.

“It was a great night to celebrate Khalil and get a win for him. He has met so much to our program for the past four years.”

Brown finished with 15 points, and Isaiah Keefner added 10 in the win.

Sam McLaughlin scored 10 points to lead Wahconah.

Wahconah (8-9) is at Pittsfield on Thursday.
