Second Quarter Sinks Pittsfield at Colonie, N.Y.

COLONIE, N.Y. – Julius Reed scored 20 points Wednesday to lead the Colonie boys basketball team to a 70-44 win over Pittsfield.
 
After a tight first quarter, the hosts outscored the Generals, 18-3 in the second to take a 38-24 lead into half-time.
 
Nunu Brown scored 15 points to lead Pittsfield, which got six points apiece from Makai Shepardson and Kyle Cardoso.
 
Pittsfield (3-3) goes back to Colonie High on Thursday to face Guilderland.
