Perry Propels Pittsfield Past Patriots

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Malachi Perry scored 18 points to lead three Pittsfield players in double figures Friday as the Generals beat Mount Anthony of Bennington, Vt., 52-47.
 
Pittsfield jumped out to a 19-9 lead in the first quarter, when Nunu Brown scored nine points.
 
It was a 29-15 margin at half-time before the Patriots were able to chip away.
 
Makai Shepardson scored 15 points, and Brown finished with 15 in the win.
 
Carter Thompson scored 16 for Mount Anthony.
 
Pittsfield (6-3) goes to the Boys and Girls Club on Monday to play Taconic.
