Pittsfield Boys Advance to Regional Semis

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Malachi Perry scored 23 points Monday to lead the Pittsfield boys basketball team to a 73-54 win over South Hadley in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class B tournament.

 

Da’Sean “Nunu” Brown scored 18. He hit two of Pittsfield’s four first-quarter 3-pointers as the Generals jumped out to a 24-12 lead.

 

Makai Shepardson scored 15 points for top-seeded Pittsfield, which won its eighth straight.

 

Pittsfield (14-5) Wednesday hosts the winner of Tuesday’s game between Sci-Tech and Taconic in the semi-finals.
