Rough Second Half Dooms Pittsfield Boys on Road

HOLYOKE,  Mass. -- Darius Diaz scored 15 points on Friday to lead the Holyoke boys basketball team to a 56-42 win over Pittsfield.
 
Tyrell Boire scored 12 points for the Generals (1-2), who were ahead, 19-14, at half-time but gave up 24 points in the third quarter to fall behind, 38-30.
 
Carter Matthews and Edwin Rodriquez added eight and seven, respectively, for the Generals.
 
Pittsfield hosts St. Joseph on Monday night.
