Lee Girls Smother Mohawk Trail to Earn First Win

BUCKLAND, Mass. – Mia Puleri scored 19 points, and the Lee girls basketball team blanked Mohawk Trail in the first quarter en route to a 43-15 win on Thursday night.
 
“We pressured the ball aggressively tonight and got some easy baskets which was nice,” Lee coach Rick Puleri said. “It set the tone for the whole game.”
 
Leanna Driscoll scored nine points, and Taylor Salice added eight in the win.
 
Lee (1-3) hosts Pope Francis on Tuesday.
