Lee Girls Use Big First Half to Roll Past Duggan

LEE, Mass. -- Karli Retzel scored 21 points to lead three Lee Wildcats in double figures on Wednesday as Lee defeated Duggan, 73-38.
 
Kendra Williams scored 17, and Brianna Hawley added 15 for Lee, which got off to a strong start with 50 points in the first half.
 
Hawley hit four second-quarter field goals, and Williams had 12 points at half-time.
 
Jesalie Santini Jones scored 20 to lead Duggan. She hit four 3-pointers on her way to a 14-point third quarter.
 
Lee (12-1) won its seventh straight since losing to Mount Everett in the championship game of the South County Tournament at the end of 2016.
 
The ‘Cats look to stay unbeaten in 2017 on Friday when they host Sabis before taking on Mount Everett in the rubber match of the teams’ three regular season meetings on Tuesday in Sheffield.
