SPRINGFIELD, Mass. –  Zi'Yan Wallace scored 21 points Monday to lead the Renaissance girls basketball team to a 50-37 win over Drury in the Western Massachusetts Class C quarter-finals.

“Story of the game was missed opportunities,” Drury coach Ian Downey said. “Tough to win on the road going 9-for-27 from the line. Make even a few of those and the end of the game scenarios change.

“We did what I wanted us to do. Use their aggression against them. Renaissance is always trying to trap and jump passing lanes. I thought we did a much better job forcing fouls. Just couldn’t convert them into points.”

Delaney Hayden led Drury (7-12) with 15 points. Norah Wood and Brooke Bishop scored six and five, respectively.
