NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Delaney Hayden Wednesday scored 12 points to lead three Blue Devils in double figures as the Drury girls basketball team beat Palmer, 66-19, in the quarter-finals of the Western Massachusetts Class C Tournament.

Keira Vidal scored 11, and Norah Wood added 10 for Drury, which got nine points from Lily Mirante.

“It was a great team effort all around — exactly how I wanted us to start the postseason,” Drury coach Ian Downey said. “We moved the ball well, ran the floor and defended. I also thought we did a good job staying disciplined, regardless of the score.”

Top-seeded Drury (14-5) moves on to the semi-finals to face the winner of Thursday’s game between No. 5 Lenox and No. 4 Mahar.
