McCann Tech Stymies Westfield Tech

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Madison Rougeau Friday scored nine points to lead the McCann Tech girls basketball team to a 41-12 win over Westfield Tech.

 

Alexis Lemanski scored eight, and Faith Brazeau added six for the Hornets, who held their hosts to three points in the first half.

 

“We struggled a bit offensively to start the game but really played hard ‘D’ and caused a lot of turnovers,” McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz said. “We got more offensively disciplined and found our offensive rhythm in the third scoring 19.

 

“I liked the balanced scoring because that shows me the girls are trying to make the right basketball play.”

 

McCann Tech (2-0) hosts Commerce on Tuesday.
