McCann Tech Girls' Defense Solid in Road Win

AMHERST, Mass. – Aiden Champney scored eight points Friday to lead the McCann Tech girls basketball team to a 33-11 win over Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter.

 

“Good road win tonight for the girls,” McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz said. “We played solid defense again tonight and were able to get a lot of girls a lot of minutes.  It was a good game to wrap up the break in a pretty quiet gym so the girls learned some things about bringing their own energy level and setting pace and tone of basketball games.”

 

Alexis Lemanski, Gabriella Lefevre and Faith Brazeau each scored four points on a night when 10 different Hornets made a mark in the scorebook.

 

McCann Tech (4-0) is off until it hosts Gateway on Thursday.
