McCann Tech Girls Drop Narrow Decision to Mohawk Trail

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Emmalee Inman scored 17 points Tuesday to lead the Mohawk Trail girls basketball team to a 33-31 win over McCann Tech.

 

Faith Brazeau scored 14 points, and Aiden Champney added nine for the Hornets, who saw a six-game winning streak come to an end.

 

“The girls played really hard all night long,” McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz said. “Maybe the second night of a back-to-back had something to do with it, but it really came down to too many offensive rebounds for Mohawk and too many turnovers on our part.”

 

McCann Tech (12-2) will look to start another winning streak on Thursday when it travels to Gateway Regional.
