Brazeau Leads McCann Tech Past Putnam

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Faith Brazeau Monday scored 16 points to lead the McCann Tech girls basketball team to a 48-35 win over Putnam Vocational in the regular season finale for the Hornets.

 

Madison Rougeau scored 14 for McCann Tech, which jumped out to a 12-1 lead after one quarter and never looked back.

 

Brazeau scored 10 points in that first quarter run.

 

“I'm not sure what the numbers were, but Faith easily had a triple double with points, rebounds, and steals which is a heck of an accomplishment,” McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz said. “She was all over the court tonight. Faith always plays hard and is all over the court but with Aiden out tonight we needed her to step up big and she did.”

 

McCann Tech (16-3) goes to Norfolk Agricultural on Thursday as the No. 3 seed in the State Vocational Small School Tournament.
