WALPOLE, Mass. – Mia Faletra Thursday scored 17 points to lead the Norfolk Aggie girls basketball team to a 60-29 win over McCann Tech in the semi-finals of the State Vocational Tournament.

Madison Rougeau scored nine points, and Aiden Champney added eight for the Hornets.

McCann Tech coach Justin Kratz complimented Norfolk Aggie as a “solid, disciplined” team that provided a good test for his Hornets, who are inexperienced in post-season play.

“All in all a good experience for the team and it was good to get back into the State Voc tournament after quite a number of years not making it,” Kratz said. “We now have a sense of where our target is to be in the future and we turn towards getting ready for the state tournament.”

McCann Tech (16-4) learns Saturday where it will open play in the MIAA Division 5 State Tournament.
