Southwick Girls Stymie McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Emily Martin scored 11 points in a balanced attack for Southwick on Friday in a 49-39 win over McCann Tech.

 

Aimee Dowling scored a game-high 24, and Allie Gibeau contributed nine for the Hornets.

 

“Tonight we fought hard and played a good game,” McCann coach Kathy Budaj said. “We are having a tough time coming up in the win column, but it isn't for a lack of trying.”

 

McCann Tech (5-9) looks to snap a three-game losing streak on Monday at Mohawk.
