McCann Tech Girls Win Third Straight

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. -- Grace Towler scored 12 points Friday to lead the McCann Tech girls basketball team to a  42-30 win over Easthampton.

 

Izzy LaCasse scored 11, and Kaylee Tatro added 10 for the Hornets, who outscored the Eagles, 13-9 in the third quarter after making some adjustments at half-time.

 

“Our first half was very scattered,” McCann Tech coach Kathy Budaj said. “The girls were working hard but then throwing it away. We settled down and executed some nice offense.

 

McCann Tech (4-1) takes a three-game winning streak into the holiday break. It returns to action on Friday at home against Pope Francis.
