Hudson Leads Taconic Girls to Final Four

BELLINGHAM, Mass. – Alex Hudson scored 12 points Friday to lead the Taconic girls basketball team to a 47-39 win over Millis in the Division 5 State Quarter-Finals.
 
Ahliya Phillips just missed a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds and passed out a team-high five assists as Taconic got back to the state semi-finals for the second straight season.
 
Faith Cross scored 10 points and pulled down seven boards, and Brenna McNeice had 11 rebounds to go with six points and three assists.
 
Caroline Mundy scored a game-high 15 to lead Millis.
 
Fifth-seeded Taconic moves on to face No. 1 Hoosac Valley in the final four. Hoosac won, 38-33, when the teams met in December.
