Hoosac Valley Girls Rally for Two-Point Road Win

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Ashlyn Lesure and Averie McGrath each scored eight points in the fourth quarter as the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team overcame an 11-point point deficit to earn a 62-60 win over South Hadley on Friday night.
 
McGrath scored a team-high 23 points for the Hurricanes, who trailed, 50-39, at the end of the third quarter.
 
Leisure scored all eight of her points in the forth, hitting five-of-six free throws and knocking down a 3-pointer.
 
Alyssa Garabedian scored 21 points in the win.
 
Hoosac Valley (3-0) hosts Amherst-Pelham on Tuesday.
