Hoosac Valley Girls Down Lee to Go to 9-1

CHESHIRE, Mass. – Averie McGrath scored 11 points, and Rylynn Witek added 10 Friday to lead the Hurricanes to a 52-23 win over Lee.

 

The Hurricanes led, 24-11, at half-time and put the game away with an 18-3 third quarter.

 

McGrath knocked down two of her three 3-pointers in that third.

 

Carina Brown scored six to lead the Wildcats (4-2), who host Pope Francis on Monday.

 

Hoosac Valley (9-1) hosts Granby on Saturday afternoon for its third game in three days.
