Hoosac Valley Wins at Mount Anthony

BENNINGTON, Vt. – Genevieve Lagess scored 23 points Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley girls basketball team to its second win in a row, a 58-39 victory over Mount Anthony Union.

 

Reagan Shea scored 19 for the Hurricanes, who got off to a fast start with a 21-10 lead after one quarter.

 

Gianna Witek and Izabela Tart each scored six points in the win.

 

Hoosac Valley (5-8) is home on Monday against Pope Francis.
