2019 Western Mass Senior All-Stars Named

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Ten seniors from throughout the county have been invited to participate in the 2019 Western Massachusetts All-Star Games on the Jerry Colangelo Court of Dreams at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
 
Four boys teams and two girls squads will play a triple-header starting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22, in the ninth annual all-star event.
 
Berkshire County basketball fans will have a rooting interest in each of the three contests.
 
In the tipoff game, involving boys from Divisions 3 and 4, Drury's Reece Racette, Lee's Ben Harding and Wahconah's Tom Burris will all play on the same squad.
 
The girls play in the second game, when a team featuring Pittsfield standout Alexis Garvey will take on one that includes Drury's Brooke DiGennaro, Mount Everett's Gwendolyn Carpenter and Hoosac Valley's Lexi Mercier and Alie Mendel.
 
The final game will feature all-stars from boys teams in Divisions 1 and 2. Quincy Davis and Quentin Gittens will suit up on the same team for one last time to represent Taconic High School.
 
Admission to the games is $10 for adults and $5 for students.
