Wahconah Downs Lee

DALTON, Mass. – Madison McCarthy scored 26 points Monday to lead the Wahconah girls basketball team to a 72-56 win over Lee.

 

McCarthy scored 12 points in the first quarter, when Wahconah jumped out to a 20-13 lead. She finished with four of her team’s 10 3-pointers.

 

Brooke Harrington scored 13 points, and Anna Doyle added 10 in the win.

 

Giana Carlino led Lee with 16 points. Payton Simmons added 11 in the loss.

 

Lee (4-2) is at Pioneer Valley Christian on Jan. 6, when Wahconah (4-1) is at Frontier.
